Terms of Purchase Policy

1. Overview
These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) govern the sale and purchase of any products (“Products”) from The Press Garage Pty Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”), including but not limited to the book Pepe and the Secret Sauce, via our website or other online platforms (collectively, “Site”).
By purchasing our Products, you (“the Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent to purchase;
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract; and
The information you provide to us is true, accurate, and complete.

3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase via our accepted payment methods (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.).
All transactions are processed securely. We do not store payment details.

4. Shipping and Delivery
We ship both domestically and internationally. Delivery times vary depending on location.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
Once shipped, ownership and risk of loss transfer to the Customer.
The Press Garage Pty Ltd is not liable for delays, customs duties, or issues arising from third-party postal or courier services.
International customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs fees, or other duties applicable in their country.

5. Returns and Refunds

We take great care to ensure every order is sent in perfect condition. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at [insert email address] with proof of purchase and supporting photographs.

Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect choice.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Goods: If a product is defective, damaged, or the wrong item was sent, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt. We may, at our discretion, replace the item, issue a refund, or offer store credit.

To be eligible for a Refund or Replacement:
The goods must be returned in their original condition, unused, and undamaged;
The goods must be returned in their original packaging;
Proof of purchase must be provided; and
The return must be received by us before any refund or replacement is issued.

Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refund Approval: Refunds are not automatic and are subject to inspection upon receipt of returned goods.
The Press Garage Pty Ltd retains sole discretion to determine whether a refund will be issued based on the condition of the returned goods.
Refunds (if approved) will be processed via the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

6. Cancellation of Orders

Once an order has been confirmed and payment processed, it cannot be cancelled unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
In limited circumstances (e.g., stock unavailability), we may cancel your order and provide a full refund.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The Press Garage Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption;
Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, postal strikes, or global events affecting logistics.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, illustrations, and imagery within Pepe and the Secret Sauce, remains the exclusive property of The Press Garage Pty Ltd and/or its licensors. Reproduction or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
